Being stuck in addiction or feeling the pain of betrayal can feel hopeless.
But there is hope.

Freedom From Pornography
Freedom from the struggle of pornography addiction requires more than just will-power. It requires a proven process, effective tools, and a community of support. It’s about learning a whole new way to do life. But it is possible! Join those who have gone before you and have experienced real, lasting change.

Healing from Betrayal
Betrayal trauma is real, but real healing is possible. Discovering that your spouse has struggled with pornography or other unwanted sexual behaviours can turn your world upside-down. The pain and confusion can feel overwhelming. But you can heal from the devastating effects of sexual betrayal and can regain your sense of safety and self.

Equipping the Church
The statistics seem staggering. The 2024 Barna Group research reports that 75% of men in the church struggle with porn, as do 40% of women. Sexual brokenness is impacting us all – whether we personally struggle or know someone who does. But the Gospel is all about restoration. Your church can become a place of healing – offering real hope and transformation through Jesus Christ!
You might feel like you are the only one.
But you are NOT alone.
Our Story
Dave Trenholm stumbled into a world of pornography as a kid and struggled to break free from its addictive nature for decades – including for 15 years as a pastor – but after finding hope & help through Pure Desire Ministries, he is now experiencing God’s redemption and healing through a journey of recovery. He & his wife, Heather, have experienced a radical transformation of their lives and marriage through this healing process. They are passionate about helping individuals who struggle with pornography as well as spouses who have been deeply hurt by betrayal trauma. They are also eager to help churches become places of hope & healing for the many who struggle with pornography or other addictive behaviours.

Hope Again Ministries exists to bring hope, help, and healing to men & women impacted by pornography addiction, betrayal trauma, and sexual brokenness.
We do this by:
Walking alongside individuals & couples on their journey toward healing and wholeness through Christ-centered recovery and discipleship.
Facilitating recovery groups for both pornography addiction and betrayal trauma – raising up leaders to take these groups back to their own churches.
Equipping churches to respond with compassion, grace, and competency — helping them become safe places for hurting people to experience real transformation.
Developing resources and curriculum that equip churches, families, and individuals to understand God’s purpose and design for sexuality and to grow in sexual health, intimacy, and wholeness.
Building networks of hope that remind people they are not alone and that restoration is possible.
